Use your MindSalt sign-in information or your organization's single sign-on service to access the application.
Accept an invitation #
An administrator may create your employee record and email you an invitation.
- Open the invitation email.
- Select the invitation link.
- Follow the on-screen steps to set your password or finish setting up your sign-in.
- Sign in with the username shown by MindSalt.
Invitation links are time-sensitive and can be used only for the intended account. Ask an administrator to send another invitation if the link is no longer accepted.
Sign in with a MindSalt password #
- Open the MindSalt sign-in page.
- Enter your username.
- Enter your password.
- Select Sign In.
Some accounts use an email address as the username. Use the value provided by your administrator.
Sign in with single sign-on #
If your account uses single sign-on, MindSalt can send you to your organization's identity provider.
- Open MindSalt.
- Enter your username if the page asks for it.
- Continue to your organization's sign-in page.
- Finish your organization's sign-in and security checks.
When single sign-on is enforced, most users cannot use a separate MindSalt password. System administrators can always use their local MindSalt login so they can restore access if the SSO integration fails. Administrators should protect that account with a unique password or passphrase of at least 16 characters that includes letters, numbers, and special characters.
Reset a forgotten password #
- Select Forgot Password on the sign-in page.
- Enter the requested username or email.
- Submit the request.
- Open the reset email and follow its link.
- Enter and confirm the new password.
The reset link must be valid and unused. If no message arrives, check spam or junk folders and confirm that you used the address associated with your MindSalt account.
Notice: Password recovery may not apply when your organization requires single sign-on. Use your organization's password-recovery process instead.
Sign out #
Open your user menu and select Sign Out. Sign out before leaving a shared device.
MindSalt also ends an inactive session after the account's configured timeout. Unsaved form changes can be lost when a session ends, so save before stepping away.
If you still cannot sign in #
- Confirm that you are using the correct account and username.
- Ask an administrator whether your employee and login are active.
- Ask whether the account recently enabled single sign-on.
- Request a new invitation or reset link if the old one expired.
- Contact support through the current channel shown by MindSalt.
