Employee status values group employees for lists, searches, and reports.

The employee status screen allows you to group your employees into status groups (i.e. employed, long-term leave, terminated, etc.). Many reporting functions within the system make use of the employee status by allowing you to quickly select a group of employees by their employee status.

Tip: New systems come pre-populated with common Employee Status.

Name – A name for the employee status.

Accounting ID – This optional field simplifies the exporting of data to an accounting package. When supplied, the Accounting ID acts as a code or cross-reference to related data located within an external accounting package.
