MindSalt brings time, expenses, approvals, projects, people, and reports into one workspace. The areas you see depend on your account's enabled features and your security role.
Notice: A menu or action may be hidden when your account does not use that feature or your role does not include access.
Use the main navigation #
After you sign in, use the main navigation to move between the features available to you. Common destinations include Home, Timesheets, Expenses, Reports, and Admin.
Accounts can rename common terms such as client, project, task, time off, and timesheet. If a label in your account differs from this documentation, follow the equivalent label chosen by your administrator.
Use Home #
Home gives you a starting point for available work. Depending on your role and enabled features, it can show:
- shortcuts to time, expenses, projects, clients, or employees,
- rejected time or expenses that need correction,
- approvals waiting for your review,
- recent activity and project budget information,
- company news or personal messages,
- and initial setup guidance for a new account.
Select a card or alert to open the related record. Counts and summaries reflect only records you are allowed to see.
Return to a previous area #
Use the breadcrumb, Return to list, or the main navigation to leave a page. You can also use your browser's Back button, but wait for any save to finish first.
If a list includes filters, MindSalt may preserve them while you move between the list and a record. Select Reset or clear individual filters when you need the complete list again.
Find actions for the current page #
Many pages keep less common actions in a three-dot or More actions menu. Actions such as Copy, Print, Approval history, Archive, Restore, and Delete may appear there.
Important: Available actions depend on the record's status. Submitted or approved records are usually protected from normal editing.
Get help or share feedback #
Open Help, then select Help documentation to open the help center. Use the current contact option supplied by MindSalt or your organization when you need account-specific assistance or want to share feedback.
Include the page name, the action you were taking, and the message you saw. Do not send passwords, full payment card details, or sensitive receipt information.
